TGC Engineering hosted Wine Net in conjunction with HBA serving Portage and Summit Counties. This event was held at our office on Thursday, July 28th.
Wine Net is a social gathering, held quarterly through members of the HBA serving Portage and Summit Counties. Wine is served of course, along with other refreshments such as beer, pop, and appetizers.
At TGC Engineering, we add a few special touches to the event such as positioning the drinks in our former bank vault, placing the food in two areas to help attendees spread out and see other guests, and providing cigar smoking at the back of the building under the cover of the old drive-through bank windows.
The Home Builders Association Serving Portage & Summit Counties is a trade association chartered in 1943 that represents the interests of residential builders, multi family, light commercial and remodeling contractors and their consumers. For the consumers the HBA lists over 500 member firms that take care of every aspect of home construction and remodeling. These members are committed to arbitrate through the association.
The HBA has partnered with the Better Business Bureau of Akron to provide alternate dispute resolution services to all its members and their customers.
We have several employees that are active members of the HBA serving Portage and Summit Counties and we appreciate the relationship we have with such a great organization!
We are also members of the Medina County HBA.
Wine Net allows us the opportunity to connect with local professionals who have shared interests and talk socially/informally about what everyone is working on. It is also an opportunity to talk about what needs we might have to see if a connection could be made that would be advantageous to a member.
The attached pictures show the members enjoying themselves at the recent event at TGC Engineering. They also highlight the beautiful newer updates to this former bank building that TGC bought and renovated in 2013 in Sharon Center, OH.
